It seemed that the solution with the Acer machine was to update the driver for the NIC. Unfortunately we didn&#039;t get to try the update on this machine before it was decommisioned and its owner got a new machine. I still have the HP 1100, I&#039;ll see if I can get it to throw the TKIP error on the WESM again, and see if a driver update sorts it out

Did you ever find a solution to your machine that was causing a MIC check failure, other than disabling them from the wireless network.
We have two laptops here that are causing us the same problem with a HP WESM
